We all know that there are so many touching stories behind so many “America’s got talent” performances. People want their stories to be shared and they choose one of the biggest stages to talk about them. This one is about Archie Williams who is a 59-year-old man from Louisiana. He was wrongfully convicted of rape and he just took the stage.

The judges as usual asked to hear a little about him but they didn’t expect to hear such shocking information about him. The man told that he had been in prison for 37 years for a crime he did not commit and he just got out of there. He told a bit more about it then showed his emotional performance of Elton John’s song, “Don’t let the sun go down on me.”

Everyone was just amazed and touched from his story and his voice and his skills. But the biggest surprise for him came later. He couldn’t even imagine that Elton John himself would give Archie an amazing shout-out on Twitter.

Judges shared their thoughts but you can feel from behind the screen that they chose the correct words to say in a very difficult way. All of them understood how difficult it was for him to talk about it and how hard it emotionally was for him to share that with such a big audience.

He impressed everyone and even Elton John himself, but an important words were given him from Simon too. We all know that it is difficult to impress him, but Archie heard from him, that it was the best and one of the most important performances in the history of “America’s got talent”.
