The owner couldn’t imagine that her dog would give birth in the middle of the night to 15 puppies

There are so many interesting stories about animals giving birth. For example there are animal species, whose only 1% gives birth to twins and etc. And this case that we want to tell you is also very unique. This story is about Eleanor Usher’s Rottweiler, Jessie, who was expecting pups. She expected six to eight puppies, but everything gone differently. When the time came, she got quite the shock and couldn’t expect that to happen.

The due date came and that morning Jessie went into labor. Everything was fine and she gave birth to six tiny pups. Everything seemed to be normal and nothing extraordinary, but the birth of six puppies was followed by a total of nine more! That’s correct and you read that right. Jessie had 15 dogs!

This is a very rare case but anyway even this is not enough to set a record. This case is actually the second-largest litter in the UK which was 18! You can already imagine how hard it was for the dog to carry 15 puppies. It took Jessie 7 hours!

It was a real wonder for her owner and she couldn’t ever imagine that things were going to be like that. Now the dog and the puppies are totally okay and everything is okay with them.
