An unusual incident occurred with the mistress of the dachshund – a girl named Fren. Her always playful and responsive dog Trevor, a short-haired dachshund breed, suddenly became quiet and distant. There was nothing strange at first glance, but Trevor was definitely worried about something.

One morning, Fren simply could not believe her eyes: her dog was inflated like a balloon. Trevor increased in size at lightning speed and, without delay, Fren went with her pet to the veterinary clinic. If you do not know that earlier the dog looked completely different, then you would think that Trevor had dramatically put on weight. But that was not the point: the dog whined heart-rendingly and continued to bloat. In addition to the changed appearance, Trevor also suffered from rapid breathing, which indicated health problems.

Veterinarians with a huge medical practice have seen this for the first time. After a thorough examination, the experts suggested that the dog had disorders in the trachea. After x-rays, it was confirmed: there was a hole in the trachea through which air accumulated in the abdominal cavity. How Trevor was able to pierce the trachea remained a mystery. Perhaps the dog stumbled upon something very sharp.

Fren went to the clinic in time: Trevor was saved. The vets performed a minor operation and the dog’s condition returned to normal. After rehabilitation, Trevor again became a cheerful and happy pet. Now nothing threatens his health, and he looks as good as he looked before this air incident. We are very happy that everything had a good ending!
