The poor man didn’t have anyone to celebrate the Christmas with. This is what surprise he got for Christmas

Christmas is one of the best holidays, when you can spend lovely time with your friends, family and have unforgettable memories. And with this story we want to share you about Edwin Holmes, for whom lately Christmas isn’t as exciting as it used to be.

He is 87 years old and spends most of his time alone, and he gets tired of his daily life. Edwin’s wife died in 2005 and he had to live alone since then. His daughter doesn’t live in United States and that is why she is not being able to spend time with his father.

And here is when Ellie Walker, a kind girl, comes. She heard about the old man’s situation and decided to do something nice for him. She is just 22 years old and works in a grocery store. And as she explains during her work-day she meets people and she remembers them very well, as they use the same grocery store every day.

And Edwin was a regular costumer too. She said that he is her favorite customer because he is just a positive and good human being. She also mentioned that he reminded her, her grandpa and she felt like she wanted to spend more time with him every time she saw him.

And as Christmas is one of the most important holidays in everyone’s life, she decided to make it special and happy for Edwin. Ellie invited Edwin for Christmas dinner and to celebrate Christmas together. The old man was very happy and couldn’t even imagine to have someone to celebrate Christmas with.

He was so excited about it and got ready for it very well. He wasn’t empty handed and even had flowers for the young lady. Their friendship is continuing after Christmas too, as they see each other very often. The man is so happy to have a kind soul friend who he can talk to, if he wants to. The real magic and the big surprise was the beginning of their beautiful friendship.
