The recipient did not pick up the large package, and after 10 years, the warehouse staff decided to open it.

Postal workers can tell dozens, if not hundreds, of stories about packages that never found their intended recipients.

But this one is truly astonishing. A huge wooden box sat in a warehouse for a long time. The buyer had paid for it but never came to pick it up.

Usually, large packages that have been paid for are delivered to customers’ homes. But this parcel somehow ended up in the warehouse.

And there it stayed for 10 years. During that time, no one ever opened the box to see what was inside. And inside was a brand-new Ducati motorcycle, the cost of which was impressive: $200,000.

It is still unknown why the owner never took it away. But as time passed, the storage unit had to be vacated, so the court began to consider ownership of the motorcycle.

The new owner of the motorcycle is a woman who worked in the warehouse for a long time and was the temporary holder of the movable property for all of those 10 years. She is now officially the owner of the vehicle.
