A life in the clouds

Olivia Sievers is a German flight attendant. She travels a lot and because of her job she often has to spend the night in various cities between flights. Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is a fairly frequent stopover. She has her little habits and her usual hotel where she stays. So far, nothing special for the young woman. However, one day, one of his stays in the Latin metropolis took a very singular turn…

A stopover like no other…

During a walk, Olivia came across a stray dog. She gave her some food and spent some time with her. It felt like heaven for the poor dog, she was not used to being offered love, attention and filling his very empty stomach.

Then the young woman continued on her way, but the doggie began to follow her tirelessly. Once at the hotel, he settled in front of the entrance and spent the night there while waiting for his new friend to return. Was it the end?

However, this little idyll could not last forever. The stopover did come to an end and the reality check was most heartbreaking: after a sad farewell, the hostess flew to distant horizons. She never expected to see the animal again…

A dog with striking loyalty

This story could have ended there, it was probably the most likely option. However, it was without counting on the loyalty and love of the doggie. Indeed, he was ready to brave all the challenges to see Olivia again.

She therefore remained in front of the hotel to wait again. And each time the hostess had another layover in Buenos Aires, she found him in front of the sliding doors of the establishment. She was always there, faithful to her post. She covered her with caresses, they spent beautiful moments together, then she went back into the air.

It lasted almost 6 months. In the meantime, the young woman arranged for the animal to be adopted by a local family, but he kept running away to come back to the hotel.

The doggie never gave up and he was right… After a while, Olivia finally realized that this dog was hers. So she adopted him and brought him home to Germany. For once, the young woman did not leave Argentina alone and it was together that they left in the air. The furball was renamed “Rubio”. She quickly acclimatized to her new life and gets along wonderfully with the hostess’ two other dogs.
