You might have seen them on the internet but never knew who painted them or wished your pet to have that kind of drawing. But there are so many people who know and recognize her so we can say she is even so popular.

About her and her journey

Shaunna Russell is a young American artist. She lives in Buffalo, New York. Her career path began in 2013 when she first started selling her watercolors and as she said didn’t even wait for any success an popularity at first. As there were mostly animals painted in drawings many animal lovers appeared and wanted to order a drawing of their pet. Many people started following her on social media where she started to be so active and post her drawings. She gained almost 50.000 and more followers which seemed insane for her. She always appreciates them so much. And what is interesting is that she didn’t even study in any art school. All she learned was her talent and of course many years of practicing from very young age. She just was born to be an artist.

Creating her own style

She made sure over the years that what attracts her followers is colorful mood of her drawings. People are used to usual and basic things in life so Shaunna decided to bring colors back in art which reflect to life as well. And people started to show interest. She mostly paints cats and dogs. But she has bigger and  more serious canvas too and paint absolutely everything. No hesitation that the art is something that was raised with her from childhood.

Where is she now in life?

Now Shaunna owns an online store that offers prints of her drawings in any subject the buyers want. She always mentions that art is what made her find her place in life and she feels so happy to be doing her favorite job and be happy for doing it.
