This story is about a military family from Cabot, Arkansas, who had two adorable daughters, Harper and Harlow. Dan and Maxi were out together on Father’s day and when they finished their meal, Dan wanted to pay for it, but here is when he noticed a note scribbled on the back of the receipt. It read:

“Enjoy your babies, they don’t stay little long. From the family across from you, God bless you.”

It was unexpected for them, and they were surprised from the note, and from the fact that an anonymous family paid for their lunch. What a nice gesture and kind people! Another side of the story is that the family who paid for them that day didn’t know the Cortez family was missing one of their own that evening.

Their love story was not easy and the couple underwent one round of IVF. They were the happiest to find out that the treatment worked and that they were going to have triplets. The babies were born on May 27, 2015.

Two weeks after Maxi and Dan’s triplets were born, they noticed that Landon began to act strangely and they wanted to make sure everything was okay with them. The family rushed to the hospital. There they found out that the little boy had Citrobacter koseri bacterial meningitis.

Sadly Landon passed away when he was only 7 weeks old and it was the worst period of time for them. But here after some time, they faced this kind of kindness, that heled their pain a little. They wrote on their Facebook page:

“The holidays are always the hardest for us. Without knowing any of this, you paid for our meal. You might never know our story or the impact of something so little could affect our lives. I’m writing you to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

This is how your kindness can make someone so happy! We hope you loved this story. Don’t forget to share this article with your loved ones, that way you can also support us. Thank you for reading and being with us, we appreciate it!
