They were having a conversation about his career and ended up asking him to give the audience an impromptu rendition of the song.

His career started with this song at the end of 1964 when the legend was only 24 years old. He mentions in his speech that he knew the song would be a hit. Something just made him feel like that.

In an attempt to get Tom to sing, Olly Murs jokes that he hasn’t heard the song in a long time, and it would be pleasure for her to listen to it. Meghan Trainor joins too. But as a very kind man, he didn’t require more convincing and held the microphone and started singing for the audience.
