The weak bear was adopted since 3 months old. The 7-foot giant now lives with this family for 23 years!

We want to introduce you a unique story about a wild bear who was raised by a couple from Russia who adopted an abandoned bear since he was three months old. Now their unique friendship is already 23 years old.

Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko are the ones who adopted the bear and named him Stepan. The poor animal was in a very terrible condition when he was found. He was weak and small and wasn’t able to survive himself. They gave him a warm home and became for him a loving family because the bear needed love and care which he was no longer able to receive from his mother.

Now they live with the 7-foot giant bear who is a lovely member of their family. They are used to it and in their eyes they still see the three month old baby who needed their help when they found him. His appearance is very impressive and scary but he is a very kind and lovely animal who grew up with humans and knows what it is like to be loved and to love.
