Over 10 years of hope, perseverance and desperation her desire of starting a family with husband Allen came true . She underwent reproductive treatment and became pregnant with triplets.

One baby passed away in the womb, but the other two survived. Kayla was surprised to learn that she was expecting four more children when she became pregnant again, naturally this time.

“When I went for an ultrasound and found out I was pregnant with quadruplets, we couldn’t believe it, especially since I am a triplet myself, after years of trying to conceive naturally.”

They knew that a quadruplet pregnancy could be extremely dangerous, so they were quite anxious, but fortunately, all of the babies were born without incident.

Before beginning fertility treatment in 2016, Kayla and Allen had already adopted her brother’s two girls, who are now six and eight years old.

The fourth triplet arrived in March of this year, while the other two were safely born in August of 2017.

Six of the couple’s children are currently under the ages of 2 and 8.

Kayla said”Allen and I sometimes find it hard to comprehend what has happened to us. After ten years of trying to start a family, we now have a large family consisting of eight children plus ourselves.
