The world with Milo’s eyes. A good guide for the blind dog

You all for sure have heard of dogs helping blind people. On the other hand, a doggie that supports a blind dog, there it becomes more touching! So let’s talk about  Charlie and Milo who left many people speechless.

The story is getting started

Adam and Chelsea Stipe are two young Americans from North Carolina. In 2016, their old Golden Retriever named Charlie had some health issues. Following an eye disease he had to extract his left eye. It was a big emotionally hard period of time for their family. A year later his right eye that suffered from the same problem. Unfortunately they had to go through all of that again and remove the right eye too.

The lights go off

The illness left the poor dog completely blind. It is easier for human  to deal with blindness as we can analyze the situation and understand the circumstances. But for a dog who doesn’t know what blindness is it is so hard to go completely blind after seeing so many beautiful things. We can’t tell what he thought or felt does. You just wake up and don’t see anything anymore…

The family is growing…

When Chelsea became pregnant, the couple decided to adopt a second dog . It would help the babies and they would grow up surrounded by more love. But the main reason for making hat decision was that it might help old Charlie by giving him a little boost. This is how Milo, a Golden Retriever barely four months old, joined the family.

Everything gone how they planned! The two doggies quickly became inseparable friends. Milo began to behave like a guide for his blind friend and how their owners claim understood everything like a grown human being. He quickly understood that his old companion was a little different. Always together

On walks, the puppy always walked right next to its eldest in order to be able to guide him. If Charlie lost the ball or the bone when the two doggies were having fun, Milo picked up the object and placed it in front of him again. They always were together and Milo did everything to show that he his next to him, while playing, while eating, while sleeping.
