The world’s oldest cat

Meet Wadsworth who is the world’s oldest cat. He recently turned 27 – or 125 in human terms. It is so much for a little kitten and it is adorable to think that he has been through all that years.

Wadsworth didn’t have the best start when he was born. He was the smallest of his generation and even was thrown out by his owners and had no one to take care about him for a long time.

His life began to improve when he was adopted by Ann Munday who lives in Ravensden, Bedfordshire, when he was only four weeks old. At that time, he really needed help, and he is the luckiest to find his forever home. The cat visits the same vet all the time, so they have enough evidence and ways to determine his age.

“I have always had cats, but he is just a dream! He always was special to me and I just can’t explain why or how. He has been a fantastic companion for me since my husband passed away 13 years ago” the owner said.

“He has practically no sharp and strong claws, so he looks more like a domestic cat, but can go for a run in the garden. Now he looks like an old man and he mostly sleeps and eats. He had some medical conditions, but he can still jump on my bed and table.”

The cat is just adorable, and despite the fact that he is not able to be as active as he has been before, he still makes his owner’s life better and happier. It will definitely be hard for them t be apart from each other.
