They are just majestic animals and only looking at them is already a big pleasure for a human eye. These stunning animals are all over the internet. Lately a picture of an African antelope with perfectly symmetrical spiral horns was shared.

This is the most specific and special feature of antelopes. They make them look powerful and strong. The horns can form two or more twists and stretch up to 47 inches if straightened, which is a very impressive number by the way.

It doesn’t stand for beauty only and the main use of it is that male Greater Kudus fight with their horns to take over dominance in their colony and that is an interesting process and rule that was created by nature.

This species is now unfortunately not that common and meeting them in the wild is not easy. They are very big animals and a male Greater Kudu can weigh up to 700 pounds and reach 60 inches.

Females have interesting rules too, for example they stay together with groups where are not less than three of them and not more than tan. This is how this beautiful animals live in the wild and continues to astonish us with their beauty and uniqueness.
