When Jaqi Clements and her husband welcomed their little babies, Ava Marie and Leah Rose, on July 7, 2010, they could never imagine their lives would be the way they are today.

They expected nights of crying and screaming, visits to the pediatrician and other basic things every parent has to deal with – but they didn’t expect them to be known around the world barely several years later.

They appeared in the world four weeks earlier than expected. Months passed but it wasn’t long before locals started pointing out how beautiful the twins were. Jaqi, their mother, listened to the advice of those close to her and contacted a model agency when they were only six months old.

“For as long as I can remember, strangers have passed by and wondered if they were twins, then they told me that they absolutely had to pursue a career as models” Jaqi once wrote on her blog.

However, it didn’t take long for Jaqi to realize that this agency wasn’t for them and so tore up the contract. The girls’ modeling career was put on hold for a while before a family friend asked if they could model for his store. The girls were seven-year-old then and thought it was a lot of fun. That’s why Jaqi was inspired and started an Instagram account for her daughters.

It started out as a fun thing, but only a few posts later, they had become global celebrities with almost a million subscribers! Currently, they have contracts with two different modeling agencies and enjoy their busy life.
