The Clogging Champions of America (CCA) is an organization that was founded in 1997 with the goal of promoting clogging and providing a means for all of its enthusiasts to get together and enjoy each other’s company.

A dance group named Sole Power won a gold medal at the 2016 CCA Championships; they belong in the second division! According to Live About, clogging is frequently likened to tap dancing, with the exception that, during performances, cloggers deliberately move their heels up and down to create the distinctive sound.

Tap dance is often performed by one or two dancers, but cloggers frequently use synchronized, well-rehearsed moves to perform in large groups. You can’t call tap dancing a basic dance—just watch the way the cloggers move when they perform.

The girls dressed tastefully decided to use Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz’s song “Get Low” as the background music for their performance. The crowd was enthralled with their dancing because the dance itself complemented this upbeat composition! You realize after seeing this film that this group truly merits the highest recognition for their originality and sense of style.
