They wouldn’t believe it if they didn’t see it with their own eyes

This story shocked everyone on the internet and no one believed it. But it is okay because even people who saw it with their own eyes didn’t believe it at first. Nick Castro, who runs Nick’s Extreme Pest Control in California, was the one who did the discover. He was speechless by what he found. He worked for more than 20 years which is a really long time but seeing something like that was the first time in all that years.

NICK’S EXTREME PEST CONTROL

It was a discovery of epic proportions. Castro was called by a family whose house had been experiencing damage from a local woodpecker. The bird had taken to creating holes in the home’s siding holes and as it turned out later it was for storing in there food. It was saved for eating later.

There were mostly acorns. The acorns were falling into the empty cavities inside the walls. Castro already realized that he would find acorns in the wall but he wasn’t expecting what he found later. What began as a steady stream of acorns from the hole Castro had cut soon grew to a literal deluge and there was nuts.

Castro told how they just kept falling and falling nonstop and it even scared him for a moment. He couldn’t believe his eyes. Turned out, they were piled high up to the attic of the house. It was insane and no one believed their own eyes! A little bird could do that all alone.

After this Castro opened other holes around the house, and acorns kept flowing again. As a result of their discovery they found over 700 pounds of acorns. Imagine that much thing just spilling out from an ordinary. That amount would be enough to fill 8-10 big trash bags.

Castro was shocked and kept saying that he never saw anything like that before and was sure no one saw something like that either. All animals are handled humanely and never euthanized and this case was no different.

They let the woodpecker be and simply patched up the holes she’d made outside the house. The addition of some new vinyl siding by the homeowner should be enough to encourage her to find another place, maybe this time more creative, to store the rest of her food. This is how the hard work of the bird shocked a big group of people and going viral shocked millions of people from all around the world too.
