We want to speak about a topic that scares so many people around us. The video that we want to share with you, may impress you, especially if you’re not a big fan of spiders. They are mostly harmless to humans and it is worth mentioning that spiders are very important for our ecosystems. However, we prefer to know them outside, enjoying their lives, rather than in our house…This huge spider has been caught on camera crawling on a wall in Tobago, and we want to tell you about it.

As we already mentioned, spiders are known to be very useful. But let’s be honest, this spider is really impressive and we would prefer to see it on video than to see it arrive by chance in our living room. And in that case not many of us could stay calm. We can’t imagine grabbing a glass and a piece of paper to put it in the garden, it would be quite the opposite, the spider makes us go into the garden and just wait there.

The images were shared on TikTok by user @noobmanbanton and have since been viewed more than 17 million times. Over 130,000 people have left a comment and the vast majority hope to never encounter such a spider! You can tell how frightening it is for so many people, even for once, who used to say that they are actually not afraid of spiders.

Among the many surprised reactions was also someone who knew about spiders, who wrote the following: “Psalmopoeus cambridgei is a species named after Frederick Octavius Pickard-Cambridge. It has a habit of appearing during the rainy season, and yes, they can get even bigger than that.”

It’s good to know exactly what we’re dealing with, although many people have simply indicated that they’d rather change homes immediately, regardless of the exact spider species. Moving might be a bit of a stretch, but how would you react if you found such a spider on the wall?
