The boy has a type 1 diabetes with which only 5 percent of diabetics deal with. He has to face constant monitoring, pain and fear that doesn’t let him live an ordinary life. He needs to see them strong and for that they tried their best. Things went way better and easier when the family adopted Jedi, their 11-week-old dog. He tells Luke’s mother about blood changes of the boy with 98 percent accuracy and that is a real help for them because they feel safe when their son is with Jedi.
