This dog saves the life of his 7-year-old owner every day. The story of this boy will touch you for sure

Sometimes life can prepare difficult challenges for us and it doesn’t even matter how old you are, you have to be strong to go through all of them. But it is not always easy to be on your own and most of the time you need someone to be by your side and help you whenever you need it.

This story is about how Luke Nuttall found his best friend of life being just 7. He is a 7-year-old boy who lives in California. The boy has a type 1 diabetes with which only 5 percent of diabetics deal with. He has to face constant monitoring, pain and fear that doesn’t let him live an ordinary life.

It’s been five years since Luke’s family learned about his diagnosis. Boy’s family understands very well how much he needs them to be strong and never give up. He needs to see them strong and for that they tried their best. Things went way better and easier when the family adopted Jedi, their 11-week-old dog.

Jedi is special because he is a real diabetic alert dog, who tells Luke’s parents when their son’s blood sugar levels rise or fall.

The thing is that Jedi has been trained for so long to smell blood sugar spikes and dips. He tells Luke’s mother about blood changes of the boy with 98 percent accuracy and that is a real help for them because they feel safe when their son is with Jedi. Luke’s mother whose name is Dorrie Nuttall, is attuned to Jedi’s signals. Nuttall tells how bad condition can type 1 diabetes put their son in and it always makes them sad to think that their son has to go through that pain. But they always mention about the existence of Jedi who made their life easier. He is a real friend for life who shows support and love not only when Luke needs it, but every day and every second!
