The hero of our story is a giant kangaroo named Rufus. It is one of the largest kangaroo species found in eastern Australia. Rufus was rescued when he was barely 8 months old. The owners of the house, Kim and Neil, are always happy to have their lovely guest over.They run their own shelter in Boston called Patch Kangaroo. It is designed specifically for animals that have fallen out of the mother’s bag and left.
