This little donkey was rejected by his mom and thinks he’s a dog after being adopted by a family

Some mothers reject their young, and unfortunately this can happen anyone and in all species. Some animals can sense, for example, that he is sick and abandon him for that. When a little donkey rejected by his mother was adopted by a family, he was able to start a new life, bottle-fed and surrounded by love.

John Nuttall, a farm owner in Lincolnshire, England was doing well and had now moved into a stable. However, it was not an easy task, the colt reluctantly parted ways with its owners. “He plays with the dogs all day and follows me around. He thinks he’s a dog.” John said.

“A friend of mine took him to help him on his way. Then he came back and I had him home with a diaper and a bottle every two hours, day and night.” John explained.

Eventually he managed to get Kye out of the house. Now, the friendly animal has a barn all to itself with an automatic bottle, but John still had to go out every three hours to fill it.

The little donkey, one of about 70 donkeys on the farm, is doing well now. Donkeys are social animals anyway, but due to his peculiar beginnings, Kye loves people even more and follows his owner everywhere!
