As a teenager, Marcin Klimczak, a citizen of Poland, dreamed of traveling around the world. The man built his own boat, on which he is going to conquer the world’s oceans alone.

In the fall of 2021, Marcin will begin his adventure, which, according to his plan, will last a little less than a year. The starting point for the new sailor will be the city of Gdynia.

The route will go through the Indian Ocean, the Danish and the Baltic Sea straits. Marcin will finish his journey in Poland.

Such a journey in the history of Poland did only one man – Henryk Jaskula. He was able to conquer the world’s oceans alone without stopping at any port in the world.

It took the Pole two years to build his vessel. Marcin Klimczak used pine combined with sheets of plywood as basic materials.

On the back, the man installed a special mount for the masts. He plans to generate electricity using wind and ultraviolet light.

Due to the resulting world pandemic, the man had to push back his timeline a bit, but he has no plans to give up on his dream.

“I’ve been nurturing my dream all my life, and I hope this time it works out for me.
