We need to always mention and talk about people who show how strong a human being can be. They remind us about our real power and how much will we keep in us. This is the story of Sean Schwarner, a man, who has beaten cancer twice in his life. First, he was diagnosed with cancer when he was 13, and the second time he was 16, when he found out that he had a tumor in his lung. After his first diagnoses he gained 30 kilograms and the quality of his life went down. But another challenge was waiting for him ahead. In his right lung, a tennis ball-sized tumor was found after 3 years, when he was 16 years old. He was given only a few weeks to live as it was one of the worst types of cancer, in stage four. But he was going to prove that the new destinations and goals were waiting for him. During all this time he was thinking about life and its meaning, and he made a commitment to himself that once he recovered, he would undoubtedly climb Everest. He knew it would also inspire others and show that nothing can ever stop you. He lost so much time in the hospitals and for his treatment, that is why he decided to bring back all that time, and recover it. He went to Colorado with his brother Seth, pitched a tent near Estes Park, and started training. They had a rigorous daily training regimen. Sean Schwarner had to propose his concept to the board of directors of an American organization before traveling to Nepal to climb Everest. Sean Schwarner visited New York for this reason in September 2001, where he experienced the catastrophe firsthand and watched firsthand how the Twin Towers burned before collapsing. After a long journey he managed to do it, and made his goal into a reality. Sean Schwarner was recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first person to defeat his dreadful sickness and conquer Everest. We hope you loved this inspirational story.
