Donnell Cross approached the woman in the store, Cassandra Nelson, and firstly asked if she knew the song “If This World Were Mine” by Cheryl Lynn and Luther Vandross. That is when it turned into a beautiful performance.

The woman later said that she was even afraid that people in the store would complain about them singing, but as soon as they finished singing, she turned and saw a group of people listening to them. It made her so happy and the little audience applauding and watching them defiantly made her day.
