Frequently, during our church visits, we have the privilege of hearing choirs perform hymns. Their voices blend in perfect harmony, resonating throughout the church’s walls.

Yet, there is always something uniquely enchanting when children participate in singing these hymns.

During an Easter Sunday church service, brothers Josiah and Micah seized the opportunity to sing a well-known Easter hymn titled “Le Christ S’est Élevé de la Tombe” (“Christ Has Risen from the Grave”). This song had been the focus of a month-long preparatory rehearsal in anticipation of this very moment. Fortunately, a devoted parishioner had captured this moment on video to immortalize the memory.

As the piano accompaniment commences, the younger of the two brothers initiates the song’s opening lines, each word seemingly emanating from the depths of his heart. Then, as the refrain resounds, his older brother joins in, harmonizing in unison, thus creating a melodious harmony that fills the entire church space.
