Unfortunately, not all owners treat their pets responsibly. Moreover, sometimes owners do not want to give up the animal even when they realize that they are not able to provide it with proper care. Among these owners is an American from Chicago, whose dog needed care as he didn’t receive it for a very long time.

For several years, a dog named Timberly lived in the house of his owners without worries and troubles, but everything changed at the moment when the woman became seriously ill. She completely stopped caring for the dog’s hair, and when he began to annoy her, she evicted the domestic dog into the yard. It was winter and some days the temperature even dropped below zero. Poor Timberly often shivered from the cold.

Because of the dampness, his coat became very tangled, and he began to move with difficulty, and looked at the world with only one eye, since the other was covered with tangles. Imagine how horrible his condition was.

In such a disastrous state, the dog was once noticed by a local animal lover who often fed street animals. He did not remain indifferent to the fate of Timberley and immediately called the animal protection organization Society Against Cruelty.

Animal rights activists met with the owner of the dog and persuaded her to transfer Timberley to a shelter. The shelter staff were amazed to see a huge ball of wool, under which it was even impossible to guess the true appearance of the animal.

Groomers had to work hard to remove from him a woolen coat weighing one and a half kilograms. As a result of their efforts, a completely different creature appeared before people – the released Timberly turned out to be a sweet and affectionate dog.

He did not stay long in the shelter, he quickly found a good family that takes good care of him and he is happier then ever.
