Why did a family of bobcats come to the man’s porch. What did they want to show

Back in September, Tim Newton was awakened by an unfamiliar sound that led him to a very unusual scene as a family of bobcats ran outside his Alaskan home. These magnificent creatures were playing and frolicking on his porch and lawn. Their visit was brief and Tim didn’t expect to see them again, as lynx are rare in the wild, let alone a family of eight cats.

Two months later, his wife Kathy Newton awoke to a familiar sound. She could hardly believe who had returned to their porch on a snowy day.

On November 11, the mother bobcat returned with her seven kittens. They flew around the patio, just like the last time. Kathy quickly began to record this rare occurrence, still perplexed.

It was very interesting to see their mother playing with the kittens as equals. Five kittens were out on the patio playing with their mom, while two were out in the yard.

The patio was covered with a thin layer of snow, so after their incredible games, they left lots of big paw prints scattered all over the area.

The beautiful family of bobcats seemed to be doing well. Mom and her seven kittens, who showed up in September, returned to the family’s front porch to surprise them a bit. And they succeeded, though bobcats are predatory animals, their intentions were clearly good.
