Why did This 91-year-old Grandma decide to travel alone around the world

In 21st century everyone is so busy working. We always complain that we don’t have enough time to relax from work and we are tired physically and mentally. But reading this story you will understand that if you want to travel abroad, have  fun and relax, you just have to go for it.

Dreaming about reachable things

This story is about a grandmother born in 1927 who once decided to travel all the places her heart wanted to. Her skills of making decisions can be a motivation for all of us. You just have to make yourself an opportunity and arrange the next excursion.

Our hero full of life is Elena Erkhova. 91-year-old lady from the city of Krasnoyarsk in Russia just woke up and decided that it is never late to start trying new things and especially what you always have dreamt of. She just wanted to enjoy her life to the fullest, and feel what she never felt. Her age didn’t bother her to travel alone to many countries in the world. Lena said that she always wanted to do something like that since she loved traveling so much and in the 70’s she traveled in some countries such as Germany and Poland.

Never say it’s too late

She didn’t continue then because she was forced to stop. In that period of time it cost so much money and her family wasn’t just able to afford that and didn’t let her to spend her own money too.But everything began again when she was already an 83 year old lady. She again got the courage to travel to as many countries as she dreamed. Unfortunately eight years later she passed away. For financially supporting her travels, she saved her pension and at the same time, sold flowers . Another oproof that making excuses is not enough. You are full of life and energy in your young years and can do anything to earn money for traveling.

Always make yourself happy

Lena was active in her whole life even if she couldn’t travel so far. She visited every interesting place she heard of in Russia. She managed to be in such countries as Dominican Republic, Thailand, Italy, Spain Vietnam Poland and Germany as we already mentioned, and many more places. She could tell that her younger self’s dream came true and age didn’t even matter, she enjoyed every second of traveling.

The grandmother always traveled alone, When she was being asked about it, she always was honest and told that she felt better traveling alone. It helped her to relax and enjoy her time even more. She took part in a variety of activities in many different countries. She rode a camel in Israel and always mentioned that as one of the most interesting activities of her life. For her being in other countries physically wasn’t enough, she did everything to explore and learn about their culture. So traveling with her wouldn’t be boring for sure.

And of course she was sharing all her adventures with people on social media. She gained many followers and everyone loved her for her good and kind energy.
